My families favorite place to come for lunch and dinner.
    N. Durango location. Everything is delicious and made fresh. Yum!!

Great pumpkin soup! Delicious spanakopita. Hummus, veggies, etc etc. there are vegetarian options on the menu.

Must try the Tiramisu cheesecake....omg so so good. I wish I had taken pictures to share but I couldn't shovel it in fast enough. Haha.

I along with my family are a big fan of their lunch specials.  The restaurant was promoting their October festival which my mom specifically flew in from Indiana to spend time and join us that 1st October weekend. Needless to say we were extremely extremely disappointed on their Opa October Festival. Would never go back.

There was an $8 charge to enter which was not disclosed. if you do an entrance charge put towards good use like towards food but limited to drinks... We dont drink so my $8 entry fee went to soda. The line wrapped around for food so long it had to have been an hour wait....all 5 of us we left to go eat at blaze pizza figuring we could come back and enjoy the festival.

Coming back the line was still long we ordered food which was at a "discount."  It did not feel like a  discount especially what you can order off their lunch menu.  Since I was no longer hungry I got a $5 Sunday with balaclava topping needless to say it was one scoop of ice cream melted with a few crumbles on top should have been charged a dollar for the portion size.

After waiting about 15 minutes to find a seat we found seats the tables from being used all day were disgusting filled with stains and  food all over it. All in all over a $100 their and walked away frustrated and disappointed.

Would never go back to their festival.

I'm not running back for seconds anytime soon. I'm not so much a Greek food lover, maybe because of the feta cheese, or the heavy vinegar taste but it's just not my favorite. I tried the filet mignon wrap with both sauces, the hummus and dill cream with rice and veggies. The wrap was okay, and the meats flavor was okay. I drenched my wrap with their homemade hot sauce and so that helped with flavoring. My gf ordered some French fries and those were delicious. I would recommend that you order the fries.

We found this spot because it offered outdoor seating which is friendly and open to all dogs.

Ambiance was great... a very talented singer/piano player was softly playing in the background at this lovely restaurant.

My hubby really enjoyed his Chicken Marsala. However, my Pomegranate Chicken (supposedly award winning, but the obnoxious waitress could not tell me what award was won), was a big disappointment. A tiny piece of dry chicken was barely saved by not-enough pomegranate sauce.
The award winning (again, no specifics) cheesecake was not to my liking at all.

I definitely plan on going back to see if Market Cafe can earn another star with a different entree, as I enjoyed our visit and I like to support the locals.

I come here often. Ive come for both lunch and dinner and I really like it every time I come. I usually get the falafel platter and that's always delicious. They had a pasta dish with tarragon dressing that I tried on a whim once and LOVED it. Guess what? They took it off the menu shortly afterward
I asked for them to at least make the dressing, I never knew I liked tarragon til I had their dressing. The service is always good but sometimes it's great. The manager usually comes around and asks how your meal is. The hubs loves the grilled steak platter. I've tried it before and it is really good.
